ABOUT US

Vertigo Records opened its doors for the first time in December of 2003, taking over the former location of another record store, Spinables, on Rideau St. After 17 years in the downtown core, we moved the shop to Old Ottawa South in the Fall of 2020. We cater to the widest range of customers and pride ourselves on stocking the best music has to offer.

Our music offerings include Indie Rock, Punk Rock, HipHop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Garage, Reggae, Blues, Metal, Rock and other genres. We have over 20,000 pieces in stock including Ottawa's best selection of new and used LPs. We also do special orders.

We pay top dollar for LPs and CDs. Please contact us if you have something to sell, or simply bring it down to the store for a quote. We buy collections, large and small.

RETURN POLICY

We will happily give an exchange or store credit note for returned, new merchandise provided it is returned in 'AS NEW (unopened, unused)' condition, with the original reciept, within 7 days of purchase date. Absolutely NO CASH REFUNDS. New LPS that have the seal broken are NOT returnable/exchangeable. Turntables that have been taken out of the box are NOT returnable/exchangeable.

For used/defective CDS and LPS that skip or are considerably warped, etc., we will also provide an exchange or store credit note provided it is returned in the state it was purchased, with the original reciept, within 7 days of purchase date. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCHANGES ON USED/OPENED ITEMS AT OUR DISCRETION. Any items marked "As-Is" are final-sale.
